DJ

Rossko

DJ Biography

Rossko has been djing for over 3 years. What he lacks in experience behind the decks he certainly makes up for with his passion and knowledge in music. He has been collecting and listening to electronic music for over 11 years and in recent times this is now starting to pay off.

Growing up with different styles and genres of music through his youth helped him finally mature in his sound and arrive at the more intelligent and deeper end of House & Techno. At the age of 21 Rossko had to give up his other huge passion which was Professional football, a bad injury had to force him to retire early. The disappointment only made him more focused and shifted his energy and desire to succeed in his life and he found putting his professionalism into music & djing a way of expressing himself .
After living in Madrid and exploring the London and Northern underground scene, djing fell into Rossko’s lap. He decided to hold back before pushing himself onto the scene deciding that he would rather make an impact, than having to prove himself as just another DJ on the circuit.

Rossko’s backbone of music has always consisted of deep house. dubby grooves and techy infulences. He is keen to build platforms in his sets with eerie and intelligent Detroit techno sounds, deep and tribal techno percaussion and orgainic and original house vocals/snippets. This adds to a more interesting sound that gives the dancefloor more options with these rich flavours and textures it creates a journey from to start to finish. From behind the decks Rossko loves to be the conductor and this is what DJ'ing is all about to him. His persona behind the decks is to connect the dots between House & Techno and have fun while doing it.

In this time along with other promotions he has featured in many clubs across London.
